Kim Maynard

2026 Kentucky Chapter Chair/IB Representative

Kim Maynard recently retired from AEP after 37 years working in multiple departments. She became a member of the Kentucky Chapter in 2009. Over the course of her membership, she has been a member of multiple committees and served as International Treasurer for two years.

Kim has been married for almost 39 years and has two children, Brittany and Charley. She also has a son-in-law named Willard and a grand-dog named Daisy.

2026 Kentucky Chapter Treasurer

Stevi is the Customer Services Supervisor for Kentucky Power and has worked at Kentucky Power for 24 years. She has a Regents Bachelor of Arts degree from Marshall University. Stevi has been a member of WiNUP for 16 years and lovers the sisterhood associated with the group.

She enjoys spending time with family and watching her kids play soccer. Stevi is married and has four children, Abrial, Taryn, Landry and Beckette.

2026 Kentucky Chapter Secretary

Emily Kean is the Director of Environmental Policy & Sustainability at NiSource where she focuses on environmental policy, stakeholder engagement, and environmental risk. She has spent her career working in utilities and mission-driven organizations with roles at LUMA Energy and ComEd centered on climate resilience and community-focused infrastructure.

Emily lives in Louisville with her daughter, Hattie, and is happily navigating the adventure of being a first-time parent.
